Digital Art / Pixel Art / Characters / Non-Isometric

When classes don't let me enough energy to start or keep with big paintings, I go by pixels. So here goes the new animated pixel portraits of my Ter Aelis characters, Smirtnoff/Aranev and Gregovi Gregorivitch.
These are forums avatars, but I noticed they're very heavy. So I might just make the next generation much smaller to avoid this problem. I can take suggestions if you guys have some. : )

They are very heavy and a little stiff.but they look very elegant.part of the reason they seem kinda off is because you need to simplify your charterers a little to fit the 12 principles of animation.[link] .they need a to be a little more elastic to get a good animation.but they have charm and that's half the battle

I can't simplify them, cause I focus on them, not on the animation. I'm not an animator.

ah.well they are still super cool. I like your characters. Gregovi Gregorivitch has to be my favorite so far, he's so evil and badass looking.love that hair.
